Nuit Blanche will take place this year from approximately 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2011 until Sunday, October 2, 2011 at 7 a.m. There will be approximately 155 venues throughout the city.

There will be several major road closures throughout the city to accommodate this event:

– Bay Street, from Front Street to Edward Street

– Yonge Street, from Front Street to Bloor Street West

– Queen Street West, from Yonge Street to University Avenue

These road closures will start closing intermittently at midnight on Friday, September 30, 2011 and continuing throughout the day, until 5 p.m., on Saturday, October 1, 2011.

Roads will be fully closed by 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2011, until 9 a.m. on Sunday, October 2, 2011.

This event will take place regardless of weather conditions. Motorists are advised to consider alternate routes. It is expected there will be a significant impact on traffic in these areas.
