Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of an infant found unresponsive at 7550 Plum Creek about 2:50 p.m. on Tuesday (Oct. 4).

The two-year-old female victim was transported to St. Joseph Hospital and later died. 

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers M. Condon and S. Anderson reported:

The infant became unresponsive at her residence on 7550 Plum Creek and was transported to the hospital by HFD emergency personnel. A preliminary investigation determined the baby had suffered bruising to her body.

The investigation is pending the baby’s cause of death to be determined by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
