Guysborough County, Nova Scotia . . . Members of Guysborough County RCMP are investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash in Guysborough County.

At approximately 5:46 p.m., October 19, 2011, RCMP responded to a call of a single motor vehicle incident involving a motorcycle on Highway 316 in the Cole Harbour area of Guysborough County. The lone male driver of the motorcycle suffered injuries and was transported to hospital by ambulance. The driver was pronounced deceased at hospital.

Police are continuing their investigation into the cause of this crash. The identity of the driver is not being released at this time.
