Moncton man Marlowe Johnson charged with five offences in connection with shooting

On October 26, 2011, 32-year-old Marlowe Johnson, of Moncton, appeared in Moncton Provincial Court. He was charged with five offences in connection with a shooting that occurred in the early morning hours of October 22 at the corner of Mountain Road and Church Street in Moncton.

Johnson is charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to the public, use of a firearm, discharging a firearm, assault, and breach of probation.

He has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in court next on October 28, 2011, at 1:30 p.m. for a bail hearing.

Police are still looking for two other suspects who are believed to have been involved, a black man in his mid-twenties and a Caucasian man between 35 and 45 years old.
