Metropolitan police investigate a sexual assault incident at Hamilton street, NW

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in reference to a sexual assault which occurred in the 100 block of Hamilton Street, NW.

On Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at approximately 2:00 am, officers assigned to the Fourth District responded to the 100 block of Hamilton Street, NW for a sexual assault.  Upon their arrival on the scene, the officers were approached by the victim who stated that while she was walking in the 100 block of Hamilton Street, NW, she was approached by a male subject who pulled her into the alley and sexually assaulted her.

The suspect is described as a black male with a light complexion, 20-25 years of age, thin build, last seen wearing dark colored pants and a red and black North Face style jacket.
