Three Mississauga suspects arrested for Brampton woman’s kidnapping

Investigators from 21 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau have arrested three men in connection to the kidnapping of a Brampton woman.

The 38 year old victim was taken from her residence on November 11, 2011, in the area of Highway 50 and Cottrelle Boulevard. After being held for two days the victim was located on November 13, 2011, at a home in Mississauga.

Jaswinder Singh, age 27, Asogian Gunalingam, age 30, and Nicholas Victorvalaratnam, age 45, all of Mississauga, are charged with Kidnapping, Forcible Confinement, Extortion and Assault. All three will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on November 14, 2011.

The victim’s vehicle, a Red 2009 Honda Civic, 4-door, bearing Ontario plate BKCW 719 has not been located.

Update: Investigators have determined that two other individuals are allegedly involved in this matter and have obtained warrants for their arrest.

Wanted by police is Jora Jassal, a 28 year-old male, described as South Asian, 5’9” tall, with a medium build, brown eyes and black hair.

Also wanted by police is Vajinder Singh, a 32 year-old male, described as South Asian, with black hair and brown eyes.
