On Monday, November 28, 2011, shortly after 1 p.m., members of the Codiac Regional RCMP responded to the scene of a workplace incident at the corner of Lewisville Road and Shediac Road in Moncton.
A woman in her 30s, who was working as a flag person, was struck by a road roller (commonly known as a steam roller) that was working in the area. She sustained serious injuries to the lower body and was transported to hospital.
WorkSafe NB is investigating.
