A former sex trade worker reported being driven to a secluded area and violently sexually assaulted against her will.

The incident occurred on November 28, 2011 but was not reported until Dec. 13, 2011 as the victim didn’t think authorities would believe her. The 40-year-old Whitby woman says she was at a pizza store on Dundas Street in Whitby and accepted a ride home from a male suspect because she thought she knew him. He then drove her to a secluded location and sexually assaulted her and at one point, held onto her throat.

The victim was returned to the pizza store and the suspect drove away. He is described as a male, white, heavy set, with large bags under his eyes, bald, with a beard, wearing a grey track suit. He was driving a blue van and went by the name “Tim.”
