Calgary police charged Fadi Gebara with sexual assault and forcible confinement

The Calgary Police Service has charged a man in relation to a sexual assault investigation.
 
On Friday, Dec. 30, 2011, at approximately 2 a.m., a 27-year old female was offered a ride home from a night club by someone she met at the bar. Rather than taking the victim home, the offender drove her to the 400 block of 84 St. N.E. The victim was sexually assaulted by the offender and left on the side of the road as the offender fled in the vehicle.  
 
Fadi Gebara, 37, has been charged with sexual assault and forcible confinement. 
 
Gebara’s next court appearance is tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012 at 9 a.m.
