Toronto man Chi Kuan charged with second degree murder

On Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at 2:10 p.m., police responded to a call for a stabbing at 536 Dundas Street West.

It is reported that:

– police located a woman suffering from stab wounds to her neck

– the woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and died on Saturday, December 31, 2011

The victim has been identified as Guang Lu, 45, of Toronto.

On Monday, January 2, 2012, at 12:30 p.m., police charged Chi Kuan, 57, of Toronto, with:

1) Second Degree Murder.

He is scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Tuesday, January 3, 2012, room 101, at 10 a.m.
