On January 23, 2012, at the Provincial Court in Hampton, N.B., 68-year-old John Joseph Allain, of Nauwigewauk, N.B. entered guilty pleas to five charges of sexual assault. The charges are in connection to incidents that happened between 1961 and 1987 involving multiple victims. 

 Allain has been remanded into custody until his next court appearance on March 6, 2012, for sentencing.
