Eskasoni RCMP charged Julian Sylliboy with Attempted Murder and a number of other charges.
At approximately 5:00 a.m. on March 1st, RCMP responded to a 911 call from an adult male requesting help. Upon arrival at the scene , RCMP found a man suffering from a stab wound to his forehead.
When police arrived, the suspect fled into a wooded area. RCMP requested the assistance of the Cape Breton Regional Police Service K-9 Unit who attended the scene. A short time later the K-9 Unit tracked the suspect and he was apprehended and taken into custody.
Eskasoni RCMP have charged 22 year old Julian Sylliboy with Attempted Murder and numerous other charges including Break Enter and Commit Assault with a Weapon, Resisting Arrest, Uttering Threats to Cause Death, and multiple Breaches of a Recognizance.
Julian Sylliboy will be appearing in Sydney Provincial Court today.
