RCMP have laid charges against a 35-year-old Yarmouth man after an abduction of two women from Wedgeport, Yarmouth County and a motor vehicle collision in New Minas on February 29th, 2012.
Thirty-five-year-old Gordon Nickerson has been charged with several offences including Kidnapping with a Firearm, Break & Enter, Assault, Breach of Recognizance, Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle and Failure to Stop at the Scene of an Accident.
Gordon Nickerson remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in Kentville Provincial Court on March 5th, 2012.
The investigation is ongoing and further charges could be laid.
*All of the charges have not been listed out of respect for the victims.
