The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance in relation to a sexual assault in the city’s southeast.
On Sunday, March 4, 2012, at 4:30 p.m., a 78-year-old female was walking in the 0-100 block of Penworth Place S.E. when a male approached her and tried to kiss her. The male then tried to push the female into the bushes, at which point a passerby was able to intervene and the offender left the area on a bicycle.
The male is described as 13 to 14 years old, approximately 5’4” with a skinny build. He was wearing a bike helmet, blue jacket, blue jeans, carrying a blue back pack and riding a rusty-coloured bike.
