The arrested man who allegedly worked with Anna Gristina, the woman accused of running a brothel on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, has been identified as Morgan Stanley broker, David Spencer Walker.
A few weeks ago, Anna Gristina was taken into police custody and was charged of running a brothel located at an apartment on East 78th Street. Allegedly, New York’s wealthiest people were her main customers.
Apparently, Walker has not been charged with any crime as yet. Morgan Stanley says it is also investigating the matter, while the prosecutors in Manhattan refused to give any statement.
Anna Gristina has pleaded not guilty to prostitution charges. According to the prosecutors, she was taken into police custody Feb. 22 after a meeting in the broker’s office discussing a new business endeavor.
“She was endeavoring into a Web site that would have rivaled match.com,” the lawyer, Peter Gleason, told journalists on Tuesday.
Moreover, prosecutors assert Gristina is a bigheaded, multimillion-dollar madam who flaunted of her connections with law enforcement.
“A caring mother of four has been slapped with a $2 million bond,” Gleason said after a judge refused Tuesday to lower the bail.
