Halifax District RCMP are currently searching for two teenage girls who were reported missing last evening.
At approximately 9:30 p.m. yesterday evening, RCMP received a call indicating that two teenage girls were reported missing after failing to return home from school yesterday afternoon.
Makira Armstrong, 13-years-old from the Lower Sackville area, and Angelisa Hawkins-Evans, 14-years-old from the Enfield area, left Bridgeway Academy in Dartmouth at approximately 12:00 p.m. on March 21st.
The girls were last seen at 2:00 p.m. with two black teenage males, approximately 14-15 years old, at the Metro-Transit bus terminal on Wyse Road. All four teens may have boarded a bus toward the Westphal area.
The girls are described as follows: Makira Armstrong is a white female, 5’4″, 105 pounds, shoulder-length light brown hair, wearing white Aero hooded sweater and Roxy sneakers
Angelisa Hawkins-Evans is a white female, 5’2″, 110 pounds, she has a piercing above her left eye, black hair with a blue streak in the front, wearing black tights with blue jean shorts with white DC sneakers. She was carrying a furry flourescent back pack.
Update: The missing girls have been safely located in Lower Sackville.
