On Thursday, March 8, 2012, at 1:30 p.m., police responded to a check−address call at 18 Hollywood Avenue.
Officers attended and located a deceased woman suffering from obvious trauma. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim has been identified as Linda Thomas, 60, of Toronto.
The post−mortem examination has determined the cause of death was blunt−force trauma.
On Monday, March 26, 2012, Anthony Yim, 20, of Toronto, was charged with Second Degree Murder.
He is scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Tuesday, March 27, 2012, room 101, 10 a.m.
