RCMP has found a stolen piece of cross-stitch art with “1990 C. McHardy” stitched into it; however, the unit is still searching for the legal owner.

Cpl. Tammy Hollingsworth said: “If we can’t find the owner, this art may be destroyed, which would be a shame, especially the one that is handmade as it must have taken someone a lot of time to make. We are hoping by sharing the photos it will bring the rightful owners to the detachment to claim their stolen property.”

Moreover, RCMP released a photo of an alleged assaulter which later resembled a person featured significantly in a YouTube video of the Justice Trolls. The group has posted three videos before police warned them.

According to the police, the ongoing investigation has some connection with the Justice Trolls video. A few months ago, young men dressed as Flash, Green Lantern and Robin told the world about their responsibilities in a YouTube video.

Flash said: “We’ve seen how many sick men are out there. To tell you the truth, we just wanted to see if we could make a difference.”

Reportedly, charges have been laid against the alleged assaulter. Upper Fraser Valley RCMP spokeswoman Tammy Hollingsworth said the police message remains the same, “We don’t encourage or condone vigilantism.”
