Fatal vehicle collision takes the lives of two teens Jess Moses and Shane Moses

On the 12th day of May 2012 at approximately 0305hrs the Richmond RCMP responded to a report of a single motor vehicle collision on No. 4 Rd. just south of Steveston Highway. Upon arrival investigators discovered a single vehicle which had left the roadway after apparently failing to navigate the roadway. The vehicle collided with a tree. The passenger side of the vehicle was the initial impact point killing 2 passengers aged 16 and 19. The driver suffered minor injuries and was transported to Vancouver General Hospital where he has since been released.
Alcohol and speed appear to be contributing factors in this tragic incident.
BC Coroner's service and RCMP ICARS continue the investigation.
Richmond RCMP can confirm that the 2 males killed in the tragic incident May 12th are identified as:
Jess Moses 16 yrs
Shane Moses 19 yrs.
RCMP will continue, what will surely be a lengthy investigation.
