On Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at approximately 10:30 p.m., police responded to a stabbing in the Yorkview Drive/Islington Avenue area.
It is alleged that:
– a 49-year-old man was confronted by the accused who are known to each other
– the accused stabbed the man causing serious injuries
– the man was taken to hospital and is currently in stable condition
Arthur Andersen, 68, of Toronto, is charged with:
1) Attempt Murder
He was scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West on Thursday, May 24, 2012.
