London police continue to investigate the murder of Jonathan Zak

On Thursday, May 31, 2012, at approximately 1:26 a.m., the London Police Service responded to reports of gunshots in the area of Boullee Street and Victoria Street, London. Several officers responded, people in the area were interviewed and the area was searched. No evidence of a shooting was discovered at that time.

At approximately 7:00 a.m. 29-year-old Jonathan Zak’s lifeless body was discovered near a pathway in Northeast park, near the area of Boullee Street and Victoria Street, London. A post mortem was completed and determined that Zak had suffered a gunshot wound. 

Police believe that prior to being located deceased, Jonathan Zak had spent the evening with friends. Police believe that Zak was travelling the pathway on foot on his way home. 

Police do not believe Zak was involved in any type of criminal activity. The London Police Service are appealing to the public to assist in solving this case.
