Ajax man Ahmed Jama charged with Second Degree Murder

On Saturday, September 17, 2011, at 4 a.m., police responded to a call for a shooting at Clarendon Wild Flowers Restaurant and Bar, 462 Birchmount Road.
It is reported that:
− police located a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound

He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The victim has been identified as Evrod Gordon, 48, also known as Rockford, of Toronto.

On Friday, June 8, 2012, Ahmed Jama, 31, of Ajax, surrendered himself to police at 42 Division.

He is charged with Second Degree Murder.

He is scheduled to appear in court Old City Hall on Saturday, June 9, 2012, 9 a.m., room 101.
