Toronto man Bonkey Morwan Ochelebe charged in lottery tickets fraud investigation

On Tuesday, August 14, 2012, police arrested a man in connection with a fraud investigation.

It is alleged that:

– at the beginning of August 2012, the accused mailed out scratch-and-win lottery tickets to several people in Toronto

– once the ticket was scratched, the ticket shows a win of hundreds of thousands of dollars

– when the people attempted to collect the money, a request from the accused was made to the victims for a cash deposit in order to release the funds

Bonkey Morwan Ochelebe, 40, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1) Fraud Over $5,000

He was scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West, on Wednesday, August 15, 2012, room 306, at 10 a.m.

Police believe there may more victims.
