Annapolis RCMP are investigating a workplace accident that claimed the life of a 67-year-old Annapolis County man.
At approximately 5:00 p.m., Annapolis RCMP assisted by Nictaux Fire Department, and EHS responded to an incident on Highway 10 in Albany. The preliminary investigation revealed that a dump truck had rolled over pinning a worker who was doing traffic control.
The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Update: RCMP are releasing the name of the victim that was killed in a workplace accident on September 18th.
David Garfield Isreal, 67-years-old, from Melvern Square, Annapolis County, died as a result of his injuries.
The investigation is continuing with assistance from Annapolis Valley Traffic Services and Nova Scotia Vehicle Compliance.
