Ottawa man Michel Desormeaux charged with possession of child pornography and firearm

The Ottawa Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) charged one man on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 following an online child pornography investigation. 

A search of the man’s residence yielded several computers, external storage devices and a loaded handgun. 

Michel Desormeaux, 23 -years-old of Ottawa, has been charged with possession of child pornography, three counts of making available child pornography, possession of a loaded regulated firearm, possession of a firearm without authority, unlicensed person possessing unregistered firearm and careless storage. 

He will appear for a bail hearing on September 19, 2012. The investigation is ongoing.
