The body of 43-year-old Robert Ernest Durost of Aroostook, who had been missing since September 18, 2012 has been discovered in a vehicle in the Saint John River near Aroostook Road in Aroostook. 

At around 4:40 p.m., on September 21, 2012, the RCMP’s Underwater Recovery Team recovered his body in his vehicle at the bottom of the river. 

An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death. At this time foul play is not suspected. The investigation is ongoing.
