Homicide investigators have made a second arrest in the June 2011 murder of 32 year old Keith Briissett Jr. of Mississauga.

On Tuesday, June 7, 2011, at approximately 8:47 p.m., officers responded to an address on Rexwood Road, for a report of shots fired.  Upon arrival, officers discovered Mr. Brissett, with no vital signs, seated in the driver’s seat of his vehicle.  He was pronounced dead at the scene, having succumbed to gunshot injuries received in this brazen targeted shooting.

On Thursday, October 18, 2012, investigators arrested and charged 21 year old Anthony Borden of Mississauga with First Degree Murder.  This follows the arrest of 22 year old Junior Moy-Lingomba of Brampton, who was also charged with First Degree Murder, on Tuesday, the 16th of October.

This investigation is on-going and Homicide officers are asking for anyone with information to come forward, as there were several members of the public in close proximity to the incident when it occurred. The case is by no means complete as police are aware that others were involved in the planning and execution of this homicide and further arrests are anticipated.  Police are concerned that there are persons with information who have been less than forthcoming, and remind those people that it is a criminal offence to obstruct an investigation through the provision of false or misleading information.
