The Toronto Police Service is requesting the assistance of the public locating a missing man.

Shawn Moore, 18, was last seen on Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at approximately 9 a.m., in the Yonge Street/Cummer Avenue area.

He is described as having a light brown complexion, 5’4″, 180 lbs., straight black hair and brown eyes. He is wearing a black hoodie with a “Mecca” crest logo on the front, a purple t-shirt with a “GUESS” logo on the front, black jeans, and black running shoes (possibly Nike). He was carrying a black “Roots” knapsack with green trim.

He is autistic and functions at the capacity of a seven-year-old.

Police are concerned for his safety.

Update: Shawn Moore was located on Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at 1 p.m.
