On Saturday, September 5, 2009, at 3:45 a.m., police responded to a call for a shooting in the Front Street East/Lower Sherbourne Street area.
It is reported that:
– police located a man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
The victim was identified as Kamal Hercules, 21, of Toronto.
On Wednesday, May 26, 2010, an arrest was made in relation to Homicide #39/2009.
Fayisa Ahmed Ibrahim, 23, has been charged with First Degree Murder.
He is scheduled to appear in court at 444 Yonge Street, College Park Courts, Thursday, May 27, 2010, at 9 a.m., room 502.
The investigation continues and police are still looking to identify the person(s) who disposed of the murder weapon.
