Edmonton police search for missing physician Doctor Bryan McPhail

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) Southwest Division is requesting the public’s assistance in locating an Edmonton physician who went missing Monday, Nov. 26, 2012.

Doctor Bryan McPhail, 66, was last seen by another physician at their place of work, the Calwood Medical Centre, 11432 Groat Rd., at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Monday. He was last heard from by his partner, during a telephone conversation around 2:30 p.m. that same afternoon.

Police located McPhail’s vehicle parked in the garage of his Aspen Gardens residence. His disappearance is considered out of character. 

Bryan McPhail is described as being a Caucasian male, 6’ 2”, approximately 200 pounds with brown, greying hair. Police believe he may be wearing a dark blue or black fleece-style jacket.

Update: The Edmonton Police Service located the physician that was missing since Monday, Nov. 26, 2012.

Police confirm that remains found in the Whitemud Creek Ravine on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012 were that of Doctor Bryan McPhail.
