Toronto elderly man Hassan Mehrpouya faces five counts on sexual exploitation

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest made in a sexual exploitation investigation.

It is alleged that:

– between 1996-2012, the accused, a piano teacher, ran piano lessons from his house

– the accused sexually assaulted a girl who was 8-years-old at the time of the assault

On Thursday, November 29, 2012, Hassan Mehrpouya, 76, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

1) Sexual Interference
2) Sexual Exploitation
3) Sexual Assault
4) Invitation to Sexual Touching
5) Exposure to a Person Under Fourteen Years

He was scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue East, on Friday, November 30, 2012, at 10 a.m.

Police believe there may be more victims.
