Hamilton padestrian dies of vehicle struck

On Friday, December 21, 2012 at approximately 10:19 p.m., Hamilton Police were called to Binbrook Rd., between Hwy 56 andHendershot Rd. for a single motor vehicle collision in which a male pedestrian was struck. The 54 year old Hamilton man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

On Sunday December 23rd, 2012 at 5:15 am the pedestrian succumbed to his injuries and his death pronounced in hospital.  This is the City’s 20th traffic fatality.

The Coroner’s Branch and the Hamilton Police Collision Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate this fatality.
