Hamilton police search for attempt murder suspect Richard Jessop

On Saturday, January 12th 2013 at approximately 4:00 a.m., Hamilton Police responded to 18 Centennial Parkway South for a stabbing that had just occurred.  The victim, a 22-year-old Hamilton man was taken to hospital by ambulance with a life threatening injury.   The victim is in critical condition and remains in hospital.

The investigation to date has led Hamilton Police to formulate the grounds to obtain an arrest warrant for Attempt Murder and Breach Probation for Richard Jessop a 28- year -old Hamilton man.  Police have not been able to locate Jessop at this time.  Jessop and the victim are known to each other. 

Jessop is described as:  white, 28 years old, approximately 195 cm, 89 kg, having short brown hair and brown eyes.
