Ottawa police investigating the suspicious deaths of two youths and a mother in Stittsville

The Ottawa Police Service Major Crime Section continues to investigate a double-murder and suicide at a residence in Stittsville. 

The victims have been identified as two children, Jon Alexander Corchis and Katheryn Elizabeth Corchis, aged 10 and 6 respectively. The third deceased person is Alison Constance Easton, 40 years old. All three are residents of the home. 

Ottawa Police officers attended the residence on Granite Ridge Drive, shortly after 5:30 pm, on January 14 after receiving a 9-1-1 call from the father who had arrived home. 

All three have been removed from the home and post mortem examinations are scheduled. No cause of death is being released at this time. 

There is no one in custody in relation to this matter. Charges are not anticipated due to the circumstances. 

At this time the investigation is continuing.
