Retired Burlington teacher Daniel Campbell charged in connection with historical sexual assault

The Toronto Police Service has arrested a man in a historical sexual assault investigation.

On Wednesday, December 19, 2012, a retired teacher at Dr. Norman Bethune Collegiate was charged in a sexual assault investigation.

It is alleged that:

− a 15-year-old male student was sexually assaulted by a man

− the incident took place at Dr Norman Bethune Collegiate, at 200 Fundy Bay Boulevard, between 1982 and 1983

Daniel Campbell, 65, of Burlington, is charged with:

1. two counts of Sexual Assault

He is scheduled to appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East on Monday, February 4, 2013, room 407 at 2 p.m.
