Guysborough man faces charges related to sexual exploitation investigation

The Nova Scotia RCMP Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) have charged a Guysborough man with Sexual Exploitation and Child Pornography offences.

The Internet Child Exploitation Unit, with the assistance of RCMP’s National Child Exploitation Coordination Centre (NCECC), obtained a search warrant as a result of a Child Pornography investigation. The search warrant, executed on January 30th, 2013, at a residence in the town of Guysborough with the help of the Nova Scotia RCMP Technological Crime Unit and Guysborough RCMP resulted in the seizure of a number of computers and digital storage devices.

A 25-year-old Guysborough man is schedule to appear on June 6th, 2013 at Guysborough Provincial Court. The name of the man is not being released to protect the identity of the victims.
