Suspect man Steven Vanroy Browne charged with first degree murder

The Peel Regional Police Homicide Bureau have arrested and charged Steven Vanroy Browne with First Degree Murder, in the death of a 32 year-old Brampton resident last year. 

On Monday, November 1, 2012, at approximately 10:30 p.m., police received several 911 calls regarding gunshots being fired near 7170 Darcel Avenue in Malton.  Police responded and located the victim, who was suffering from life-threatening wounds. The victim, Dwayne Alexander Thompson, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Steven Vanroy Browne, aged 22 years, currently of no fixed address, was arrested today and charged with First Degree Murder. He will be appearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Wednesday, March 19, 2013. 

Two other parties were previously arrested. Amal Everton Greensword, aged 23 years of Brampton, and Adrian Jordan Williams, aged 19 years of Mississauga.
