Tuesday night turned out bloodily for Torontonian, as five different victims were sent to nearby hospitals in various crime incidents of namely two shootings and three stabbings.


A 35-year-old victim is fighting from life threatening injuries after being shot in an apartment tower on Glenlake Ave. in the Junction. Police arrived to an emergency call made from nearby around 10:30 p.m. and found the victim on one of the building’s upper floors. Police claims that a group of suspects fled from the scene in a vehicle, which later crashed into a TTC bus nearby. However, it was affirmed that one male suspect was taken in custody, while remaining three are still at large. Police was unable to confirm any injuries to the riders of TTC. In another incident, a 24-year-old man was rushed to hospital in result of another gunshot in the right foot outside a townhouse complex on Jamestown Cres., near Martin Grove Rd. and John Garland Blvd. Police confirmed that the incident took place 10:15 p.m. in result of an argument with an unconfirmed number of suspects. While another victim, in his mid-20s, is currently recovering from being stabbed five to seven times inside an apartment tower on Falstaff Ave., near Jane St. and Hwy. 401, Tuesday night.

A 25-year-old victim, who took a taxi to Humber Church hospital, was suffering stab wounds around 9:40 p.m., police said. He was then transferred to Sunnybrook trauma centre, where he was treated for minor injuries and released.
