The Winnipeg Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing 17 year old female, Josephine Marie Merasty. She was last seen on March 13, 2013, in the area of Balmoral Street and Notre Dame Avenue.
Merasty is described as: Aboriginal, 5’4” in height, 140 pounds with long straight black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a green jacket with fur and dark blue jeans.
Investigators are concerned for her well being.
Update: Josephine Merasty has been safely located.
