On Wednesday, May 1, 2013 the London Police Cyber Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a Grenfell Drive residence in the city of London. The search warrant was part of a child pornography investigation that began on April 4th, 2013. As a result of the evidence obtained, 30-year-old Eli Portillo was charged with the following Criminal Code offences;
• Four counts of distribute of child pornography, contrary to section 163.1(3)
• Two counts of possession of child pornography, contrary to section 163.1(4)
• Make child pornography, contrary to section 163.1(2)
• Access child pornography, contrary to section 163.1(4.1)
