Cynthia AssamInvestigators from the 22 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 76 year-old female.

Cynthia Assam was last seen at approximately 7:00 a.m., on Saturday, May, 18, 2013, at her family’s residence on Deerpark Crescent in Brampton. It is believed that she had left the residence for a walk, and she has not been heard from since.  

Mrs. Assam is visiting from Trinidad and she may have lost her way during her walk. She is physically fit and is known to walk for long periods of time.

Mrs. Assam is described as female, black, 5’7” tall, approximately 145 pounds, with shoulder length grey hair.  She was last seen possibly wearing a red shirt, a long red skirt with prints on it.  

Police and family members are concerned for the safety of Mrs. Assam because she suffers from Alzheimer’s and she has no money or identification on her.

Update: Investigators from the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are advising the public that a missing 76 year-old female has been located.

Cynthia Assamwas located earlier today by police and returned to the care of her family.
