Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 13201 South Wayside about 11 a.m. on Wednesday (May 22).
The identity of the male, who suffered no apparent signs of trauma, is pending verification by the Harris County Insitute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Elsbury and Senior Police Officer R. Martinez reported:
A citizen was doing work on a nearby property when he discovered a male’s decomposed body. At this time, it is unknown how long the body had been in the field. The male was wearing tan pants, black slip-on shoes and a brown belt. There was a maroon T-shirt lying next to him.
The investigation is pending the male’s cause of death.
