The ongoing search for ‘Charles’ Karoly John Horvath-Allan has spanned nearly two and a half decades since his disappearance.

Charles was a 20 year old Canadian-born British Subject who decided to hitchhike across Canada in 1988. In the spring of 1989, he registered at the Tiny Town Campground in Kelowna and was working at the now defunct Flintstones Bedrock City. He had maintained contact with his family throughout his travels and when he failed to finalize arrangements to meet them in Hong Kong as planned, he was reported missing.

Charles was last seen in the summer of 1989 and his whereabouts remain unknown.

The police file is open and will remain active until Charles is found.
