Dingwall driver dies in a fatal single vehicle collsion at Cabot Trail in Cape Breton

RCMP are investigating a fatal motor vehicle on the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton.

This morning, 5:53 a.m., Ingonish Beach RCMP and North Sydney Traffic Services responded to a report of a single motor vehicle crash north of Neil’s Harbour. A car, driven by a 21-year-old male from Dingwall, left the highway while travelling southbound. The driver was ejected from the vehicle as a result. He was transported by EHS to the Buchanan Memorial Hospital where he died due to his injuries.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
