RCMP are looking for a missing person in Ingonish.
Early this morning, 2:30 a.m., RCMP got a call of an overturned boat in the Ingonish Harbour. Five teens, 14 to 18-years-old, were in a wooden boat when it took on water and overturned. All five went into the water about 300 meters from land. Four of the teens made it to shore. The fifth youth, a 14-year-old male, was last seen by his friends in the water. Police with assistance from the JRCC, local fire services and other emergency responders are continuing to look for the youth. The matter remains under investigation.
