Toronto man Benjamin Levin charged with five counts in relation to child exploitation investigation

On Monday, July 8, 2013, after an online, multi-jurisdictional, child exploitation investigation, members of the Toronto Police Service’s Sex Crimes Unit, Child Exploitation Section, executed a warrant at a residence in the Lawrence Avenue West/Avenue Road area.

Benjamin Levin, 61, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1) Two counts of Distribute Child Pornography
2) Make Child Pornography
3) Counselling to commit an indictable offence
4) Agreement or arrangement – sexual offence against a child under 16

He is scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West on Monday, July 8, 2013, at 2 p.m.

The investigation is ongoing.
