Teen driver dies in a fatal vehicle collsion to a power poll at Black River Road and Victoria Road intersection

The injured man died late Saturday evening.

Only July 4th, Springhill Police and Cumberland District RCMP responded to the single vehicle crash at the intersection of Black River Road and Victoria Road. The 18-year-old male driver sustained life-threatening injuries when he struck a power pole. He was transported to hospital in Halifax by EHS Life flight. 

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
