Teen pedestrian girl dies in a serious collision at intersection of Adelaide Street North & Fanshawe Park Road East

On Sunday, July 14, 2013, shortly before 5:00 p.m., members of the London Police Service responded to a serious collision that occurred within the intersection of Adelaide Street North and Fanshawe Park Road East. A beige coloured Honda Civic was travelling east-bound on Fanshawe Park Road at the intersection, when the vehicle collided with a pedestrian. 

The 17-year-old female pedestrian was travelling south-bound on the west side of the intersection, when the collision occurred. She was transported to a local hospital and during the early evening hours of Monday, July 15, she succumbed to her injuries.

Members of the London Police Service Traffic Management Unit are still investigating the circumstances surrounding this collision.
