Winnipeg police has confirmed the death of two young children who were found deceased after an incident in a home on Coleridge Park Drive this morning. Consequently, local police launched a massive city-wide search for the children’s’ mother, 32-year-old Lisa Gibson. Police revealed that there is little information as to where she was last seen, though she is believed to be on foot, wearing pyjamas.

Meanwhile, it was investigated that an active Facebook page of Lisa Gibson shows dozens pictures of herself and the happy, smiling children and family. The last update at her page was posted on June 18. It was revealed that Police attended to a “well-being” call at a residence on Coleridge Park Drive, while multiple sources confirmed that a 911 hang-up call was made at around 8:45 a.m. Thereafter, first respondents found dead bodies of the two babies, i.e. three months old and two years old child, in the bathroom tub. However, police has refrained from confirming what seems to be the cause of children’s death and where exactly they were found.

Const. Eric Hofley admitted that the children were quickly shifted to a hospital in critical condition, alleging that “this is a tragic, tragic incident.” Hofley added that “our thoughts are with the family.” He revealed that the father was contacted at work and notified of the situation by police, though the wife still remains a subject of major search involving up to 20 police units from both city police and the RCMP.
