Bulgaria Blames a Canadian Suspect in Bus Bombing of Israeli Tourists

Almost a year after two suspected Hezbollah workers bombed a bus full of Israeli tourists in Bulgaria, concerned authorities in the country have openly declared the identity of two main suspects on Thursday, one of which is a 25-year-old Canadian named Hassan El Hajj Hassan.

In the official press release made by The Bulgarian Ministry of Interior, the identity of both prime suspects of the dreadful event was revealed, out of which the second suspect was Australian Meliad Farah. Additionally, the statement alleged to be “an appeal for cooperation towards the society regarding two individuals, who are suspected of having link with the bombing. Both have were seen in several regions of Bulgaria in the weeks preceeding the attack, which killed five Israeli tourists, a local bus driver and one of the attackers, who has not yet been identified but who is believed to be related to the Canadian.” Meanwhile, the ministry mentioned in a following statement that “the investigative authorities suspect that the aforementioned individuals have registered themselves at hotels and accommodations, using fake identities under the name of Brian Jeremiah Jameson, Jacque Felipe Martin and Ralph William Rico.” Later it was subsequently explained that “they are also believed to have rented cars using the mentioned fake identities.”

Conclusively, the press release asked for any citizens having any bit of information regarding the two suspects to contact the nearest structure of the Ministry of Interior, with guaranteed anonymity. It was already leaked last week that all evidence collected from the scene of the blast straightforwardly showed that Hezbollah was to blame.
